Job Title: Yard Operative with Driving Licence

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative with a valid driving licence to join our team in the recycling industry. The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of our recycling yard, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized workspace while assisting with driving and operational duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Yard Operations:
- Sort, segregate, and handle recyclable materials.
- Operate machinery such as balers, compactors, and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the yard area.
- Assist in loading and unloading vehicles as required.
- Driving Duties:
- Operate company vehicles to transport materials to and from designated locations.
- Assist with collection or delivery of recyclable materials when needed.
- Ensure vehicles are operated safely and maintained in good working order.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Follow all health and safety protocols while working in the yard and on the road.
- Conduct routine checks of equipment and promptly report any issues.
Requirements:
- Own transport needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the recycling or waste management industry is desirable.
- Forklift certification is advantageous.
- Strong physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

- 5 days over 6 Saturdays needed
