Our client are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join their busy Service Department, with a particular focus on Warranty Administration. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established motor group, offering long-term career prospects and professional development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role within the motor industry, ideally within a Service or Warranty setting in a HGV environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting and updating systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Highly flexible, well-organised, and capable of managing a busy workload
- Experience using Dealer Management Systems; familiarity with Kerridge/CDK is a strong advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Warranty Administrator in processing warranty claims in line with manufacturer requirements and timelines
- Verify vehicle warranty status in response to customer enquiries
- Maintain detailed logs of all claims submitted and corresponding reimbursements
- Coordinate the return or disposal of parts according to brand guidelines and retention policies
- Review warranty-related documentation and ensure relevant information is communicated to internal and external teams
- Assist in preparing for and facilitating warranty audits
- Provide ad-hoc cover at the service reception desk when needed
- Support general service department administration, including invoicing and other related tasks
