We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Athlone, who is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their central distribution centre.
ROLE:
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
- Unloading goods using manual handling or pallet equipment
- Booking stock into the system using scanners or manual logs
- Organising stock in the correct storage areas within the warehouse
- Ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods in the Goods In department
- Communicating with team leads to flag damaged or missing items
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, adhering to health & safety guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment
- Previous experience with Goods In operations is desirable
- Familiarity with stock control, receiving deliveries, and handling goods
- Experience operating pallet trucks, scanners, or other warehouse equipment is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
