Our client is currently seeking a committed and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their logistics team based at Dublin Airport. This vital role supports the timely and secure delivery of catering supplies and prepared meals across airport locations, contributing to the smooth operation of airline services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport catering goods between the production facility, aircraft, and other airport areas safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all road traffic laws and airport-specific safety and operational procedures.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with airline and airport personnel.
- Accurately complete delivery logs and all relevant paperwork.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a rigid truck driver, ideally within a logistics or airport environment.
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and relevant traffic laws.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Clear and confident communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- A proactive approach to safety, with strong customer service values.
- Experience working in secure or regulated settings is a distinct advantage.
