Our client is looking for a skilled and dependable Rigid Truck Driver to support their logistics operations at Dublin Airport. In this essential role, you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of catering supplies and prepared meals to various airport locations, playing a key part in the smooth operation of airline services.
Responsibilities:
- Transport catering supplies safely between the production facility, aircraft, and other airport areas.
- Carry out routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
- Follow all road traffic laws and adhere to airport-specific safety procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and respectful manner in interactions with airline and airport staff.
- Accurately complete delivery logs and relevant documentation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving rigid trucks, preferably in an airport or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of road safety and driving regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service approach.
- Self-motivated, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments is highly desirable.
