Our client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their team. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe and timely transport of catering supplies and prepared meals to and from Dublin Airport, maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver catering supplies and meals between the catering facility, aircraft, and various airport locations.
- Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as required.
- Maintain professional and courteous relationships with airport and airline staff.
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation and logs.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a rigid truck driver, ideally in a similar operational or airport-related role.
- Solid understanding of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A strong commitment to safety and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Prior experience working in high-security environments (e.g., airports) is highly desirable.
