Our client is currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their logistics team at Dublin Airport. This important position plays a key role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of catering supplies and meals across various airport locations, helping maintain the smooth flow of airline services.
Main Duties:
- Transport catering supplies securely between the production facility, aircraft, and other airport zones.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle checks before and after each shift to meet all safety and maintenance requirements.
- Follow all road traffic laws and comply with specific airport safety and operational protocols.
- Support loading and unloading operations as required.
- Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner when interacting with airline and airport personnel.
- Ensure all paperwork and delivery logs are completed accurately and on time.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating rigid trucks, preferably within a logistics or airport-based role.
- Solid understanding of road safety standards and driving regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Confident communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Self-driven with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Experience working in regulated or secure environments is highly beneficial.
