Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their logistics team at Dublin Airport. This key role is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of catering supplies and prepared meals across various airport locations, ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport catering supplies between the production facility, aircraft, and airport locations on a set schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Follow all road traffic laws and adhere strictly to airport-specific security and safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with airline and airport personnel.
- Complete all necessary delivery records and associated documentation accurately and efficiently.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving rigid trucks, preferably in an airport or logistics setting.
- Sound knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety and service quality.
- Previous experience in secure or regulated environments is a distinct advantage.
