Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their logistics team at Dublin Airport. This crucial role ensures the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of catering supplies and prepared meals throughout various airport locations—playing a key role in supporting daily airline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport catering supplies between the production facility, aircraft, and other designated areas within the airport.
- Carry out detailed pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Comply with all road traffic regulations and adhere to airport-specific safety and operational protocols.
- Support loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Maintain a professional, courteous attitude in all interactions with airline and airport personnel.
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation and relevant paperwork.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving rigid trucks, preferably within an airport or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Safety-conscious, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience in a secure or regulated environment is a strong advantage.
