Our client is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their logistics team based at Dublin Airport. This vital role supports airline operations by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of catering supplies and prepared meals across various airport locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport catering goods between the production facility, aircraft, and designated areas within the airport.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and airport-specific safety regulations.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries as needed.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with airline and airport personnel.
- Accurately complete all required delivery logs and documentation in a timely manner.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating rigid trucks, ideally within a logistics or airport environment.
- Solid understanding of road safety laws and driving best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Self-motivated, safety-aware, and capable of working independently.
- Previous experience in secure or regulated environments is a significant advantage.
