Our client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their logistics team at Dublin Airport. This critical role is responsible for the safe, punctual delivery of catering supplies and prepared meals throughout airport locations, ensuring seamless support for airline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport catering supplies between the production facility, aircraft, and other designated airport areas.
- Perform detailed pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to uphold safety and maintenance standards.
- Follow all traffic regulations and comply with airport-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Maintain a courteous and professional approach when dealing with airline and airport staff.
- Ensure all delivery documentation and logs are completed accurately and promptly.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least 2 years of experience driving rigid trucks, preferably in an airport or logistics setting.
- Strong knowledge of road safety standards and driving regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently.
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments is highly desirable.
