Position: C Licence Driver
Location: Nenagh
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €40,000.00 + per year
Overview:
Our client, a busy waste management company in Nenagh are seeking dedicated C Licence Drivers to join their team. This role involves the daily collection of waste materials from domestic and construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect waste materials from various domestic and construction sites.
- Operate company trucks to transport waste materials safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all operations.
- Cooperate fully with health, safety, and welfare initiatives for the protection of colleagues and the public.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously when interacting with clients, colleagues, and the public.
- Participate as a team player, contributing to the success of daily operations.
Work Schedule:
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: Early starts usually 5am
- Shift Duration: 8–12 hours
- Optional Saturdays (paid at time and a half)
Requirements:
All certifications and licenses must be valid and up to date:
- C Licence (required)
- Tachograph Driver Card (required)
- CPC Card (required)
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)
- Safe Pass (an advantage)
- Proficiency in English and eligibility to work in Ireland are mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience with a C Licence (required).
Benefits:
- Competitive Pay: €17.51 – €26.26 per hour
- Overtime Rates: All overtime is paid at time and a half
- Optional & Bank Holiday Saturdays: Paid at time and a half.
