Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales professional to join their team in Cork. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, strong product knowledge, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced trade environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of customer service at the trade counter, engaging with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the full product range and stay current with industry trends and new product offerings.
- Accurately process sales transactions, including order entry, payment handling, and issuing receipts. Ensure prompt and correct order fulfillment and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and welcoming trade counter area to enhance the customer experience.
- Respond to customer queries and provide technical support or troubleshooting advice when necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within a trade counter, wholesale, or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of trade products and industry practices is highly advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
