To provide excellent customer service and product knowledge of building materials and plumbing products while driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers efficiently at the trade counter, providing expert advice on products
- Handle customer queries via phone and in-person
- Prepare detailed quotations and process orders
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure product availability
- Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Use in-house IT software systems for sales and stock management
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in trade counter sales, preferably in the building or plumbing industry
- Strong product knowledge of building materials and plumbing products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in IT systems and software
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
