Our client is seeking a dependable and experienced Service Driver to join their team in Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, servicing, and replenishment of hygiene products at various client locations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all road traffic laws and regulations.
- Deliver and service hygiene products at client premises, ensuring all units are clean, replenished, and functioning properly.
- Plan and follow efficient service routes to cover multiple client locations within set timeframes.
- Perform routine checks on service equipment and report any issues or defects promptly.
- Load and unload hygiene products securely, handling items with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate service records, including visit logs, product usage, and any issues encountered.
- Provide excellent customer service on-site, addressing any client questions or concerns professionally.
- Keep the service vehicle clean, organized, and roadworthy at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Category B driving license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a service, delivery, or customer-facing driving role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling hygiene products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
Additional Information:
- Familiarity with Galway and surrounding areas is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene products and servicing procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude.
