Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production runs, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a team to meet operational goals.
Main Duties
- Oversee production lines for efficient operation.
- Ensure all production procedures and safety standards (including HACCP and allergen controls) are followed.
- Complete and update production records and documentation.
- Monitor cleaning, temperature control, and product labelling for accuracy.
- Apply FIFO for stock rotation and minimize waste.
- Report quality issues to the Quality Assurance team.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and stocktaking.
Operational Requirements
- Assign tasks and support team members.
- Communicate effectively and escalate issues when needed.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Attend training and be flexible to cover similar roles.
- Always follow food safety and quality systems.
