This position is within a fast-growing company specializing in innovation in the chilled category across manufacturing, retail, and service channels.
Based at the manufacturing site, the Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of raw materials essential for seamless operations.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Procurement Officer with maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Liaise with suppliers to place, confirm and progress orders and ensure delivery.
- Assist with developing and maintaining stock requirement forecasts as required
- Plan and coordinate the supply of raw materials.
- Assist the Procurement Officer with maintaining a raw material inventory management system.
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production sites to avoid disruptions.
- General Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by management
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Level 6 qualification or higher.
- 3+ years administration experience, preferably in the Food manufacturing Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft & Google Office Suite
- Experience of procurement software an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
