Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at the trade counter, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- Assist customers with product selection by detailing benefits and technical features.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the in-house stock system efficiently.
- Collaborate with management to ensure the shop is clean, safe, and well-merchandised.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding product sourcing and delivery timelines.
- Support internal and external sales teams in achieving sales targets.
Criteria
- Previous experience delivering face-to-face customer service within a retail or sales environment is essential.
- Knowledge of plumbing and heating products is preferred, but a willingness to learn will also be considered.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient IT skills with good computer literacy.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Prior experience working on a trade counter is desirable.
