Job Purpose:
Work as part of the team in a food production setting, helping to move materials safely and keeping the production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a counterbalance forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and quickly.
- Help feed materials onto production lines when needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules at all times.
- Check the forklift daily and report any problems.
- Keep your work area and forklift clean and tidy.
- Follow instructions carefully and work safely.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must have a valid counterbalance forklift license.
- Experience in food production or warehouse work is helpful but not required.
- Must have your own transport to get to work.
- Good timekeeping and reliable.
- Able to work well with others.
- Physically able to stand and move during shifts.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
