Our client are seeking an experienced and professional Branch Supervisor to join their growing team in Cork City.
As a Supervisor, the successful candidate will assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations. In the absence of the Branch Manager, the Supervisor will take full responsibility for managing the branch. The role involves ensuring the team achieves service, sales, and quality targets within a customer-focused environment while adhering to company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and actively contribute to motor vehicle repairs and maintenance on the workshop floor
- Achieve branch and company goals, ensuring targets are met consistently
- Complete all administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Accurately record and update relevant information in the company’s in-house systems
- Assist the Branch Manager with various tasks, including audits and other operational duties
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective use of materials, parts, and equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures
- Follow the company’s operations manual and internal policies without deviation
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with both team members and customers
- Ensure full understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong technical and motor vehicle repair expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- A valid driving license is essential
- Availability to work a 5/6-day roster
