Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Management
- Lead day-to-day branch operations, ensuring team productivity and efficiency
- Achieve financial targets, manage costs, and optimise branch performance
- Oversee stock control and maintain accurate inventory records
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop staff in line with business needs
- Conduct performance reviews and offer regular feedback
- Foster a positive team environment and resolve issues effectively
Customer & Business Development
- Build strong relationships with customers to retain and grow accounts
- Promote services and identify new business opportunities
- Report weekly performance and sales figures to Area Manager
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, presentation, and customer service
- Ensure staff follow technical guidelines and company policies
- Enforce uniform standards and consistent work practices
Health & Safety
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Ensure all staff follow H&S policies and legal requirements
- Report safety concerns or breaches immediately
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar management role
- Strong motor industry knowledge essential
