Our client are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Service Manager to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our fast-paced service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and process service-related documentation
- Coordinate daily schedules for service engineers
- Plan and assign workloads to the engineering team
- Prepare and send repair quotations to customers
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Produce and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports
- Resolve account and billing queries in a timely manner
- Maintain consistent communication with the Service Manager and Director
- Effectively manage the expectations of a diverse customer base
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within construction plant equipment or the motor trade
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general administrative duties
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Customer-focused with a professional and friendly approach
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Salary: 42,000 – 45,000
